The victim has been identified as P Mohith, a resident of Aalathudaiyanpatti near Thuraiyur. Mohith was a Class VII student at a government school. He was traveling with his father, T Pavan, 40, and his brother, P Vasanthakumar, 14, on the Mettupalayam to Thathaiyangarpettai state highway.
The tragic accident took place near the Oorudaiyapatti junction. According to police reports, a two-wheeler approaching the junction collided with Pavan's two-wheeler from the side. The impact was so severe that all three individuals were thrown off the bike, sustaining critical injuries in the process.
Immediate Aftermath and Medical Response
Mohith suffered the most serious injuries in the collision. He was rushed to the Morupatti primary health centre, but medical professionals declared him dead upon arrival. The young boy's life was tragically cut short in this sudden and violent incident.
