Kolkata: Trinamool Congress candidate from Maniktala assembly constituency, Shrreya Pande, appeared at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in the CGO Complex in Salt Lake on Monday, a day ahead of her scheduled appearance. An ED officer stated that Pande's name surfaced in chats during the examination of mobile phones as part of the investigation into the Sona Pappu case, leading to her summons.

However, Pande took to social media to assert that she visited the ED office voluntarily and had not received any summons. She also claimed that she did not know anyone named 'Sona Pappu'.
