According to officials from the Disaster Management Cell, the truck's engine fire created a state of chaos. In the ensuing panic, the truck veered and struck a passing motorcycle, sending the bike crashing into the road divider.
The truck driver reportedly fled the spot immediately after the accident, leaving behind a scene of confusion and distress. Emergency services were swiftly alerted to the location.

Injured Riders Identified and Hospitalized
The two injured individuals on the motorcycle have been identified as residents of Nalasopara. Zain Siddiqui, aged 27, sustained injuries to his hand. His companion, Sarfaraz Sheikh, aged 32, suffered more extensive injuries, affecting both his hand and leg.
Both victims were promptly transported to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital in Kalwa for urgent medical treatment. Their current conditions are being monitored by hospital staff, though specific details on their recovery were not immediately available.
