The accident took place around 11:30 pm, with the truck breaking through police barricades and damaging a police vehicle.

Details of the Incident

According to police reports, the truck driver was driving recklessly and smashed through the barricades that had been installed by the police for a routine check. Home Guard Sandeep Kumar, who was stationed at the checkpoint, was hit by the truck and died on the spot. The impact was so severe that the barricades were broken and a police vehicle was also damaged.

After the collision, the driver abandoned the truck and fled the scene. The police have sent the body for a post-mortem examination and have launched a search operation to apprehend the absconding driver.

Victim Identification

The deceased has been identified as Sandeep Kumar, a resident of Liwasi village in Bhiwani district. Sources revealed that Kumar had been transferred from Bhiwani to Gurugram only three days prior to the incident. The police have informed his family about the tragic event.

The police are currently investigating the matter and are reviewing CCTV footage from the area to identify the driver. A case has been registered, and efforts are underway to track down the culprit.
