Bengaluru police have arrested two individuals in connection with a gold jewellery theft, recovering stolen goods valued at Rs 1.64 crore. The arrests were made following a complaint filed on May 16 by a resident of Chickpet, who alleged that the accused stole 1.514 kg of gold jewellery after posing as bulk buyers.

The complainant reported that the suspects approached him under the guise of being bulk purchasers of gold. After gaining his trust, they stole the jewellery and fled. The police launched an investigation and tracked down the accused, recovering the stolen items.
