A tragic road accident in Madhya Pradesh's Raisen district claimed the lives of two young men on Monday evening. The fatal collision involved a speeding truck and a motorcycle near the gate of the Ratapani Wildlife Sanctuary.

The incident occurred in the Obedullaganj area around 5 pm on Monday. According to police, a truck moving at high speed rammed into the motorcycle from behind. The impact of the Raisen road accident was so severe that both riders were crushed under the wheels of the heavy vehicle. They succumbed to their injuries on the spot.
The victims have been identified as 24-year-old Ganesh Vishwakarma, a resident of Huzur in Bhopal, and 32-year-old Rajesh Gorelal from Chicholi in Betul district. The two were on a journey, traveling from Bhopal to Betul, when the tragedy struck near the sanctuary gate.
Driver Flees, Police Launch Investigation
In a callous act, the truck driver abandoned his vehicle at the site of the fatal bike accident and fled. Local authorities were alerted soon after the collision. Police teams reached the location promptly and initiated proceedings.
The bodies of the two men were sent for a post-mortem examination. The autopsy was completed on Tuesday morning, following which the remains were handed over to their grieving families for last rites.
