Three Youths, Including Two Brothers, Killed in Tragic Highway Accident Near Indore
A devastating road accident on the Dewas-Bhopal highway near Newari Phata in the early hours of Sunday resulted in the tragic deaths of three young men, two of whom were brothers. One other individual sustained critical injuries in the collision.

The victims were returning from Sonkatch after purchasing supplies for a family ritual when their car was allegedly struck from behind by an unidentified vehicle. The forceful impact caused their vehicle to veer off the road and crash violently into a tree, leaving the car completely mangled.
Victims Identified
The accident proved fatal for Mohit Nagar, 22, a resident of Gunai Bhaurasa, and his cousins Shubham Nagar, 24, and Pradeep Nagar, 20, both from Dudhlai in Sonkatch. All three young men succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
Critical Injuries and Hospitalization
Their relative, Sachin, a resident of Sulpakheda in Barotha who was traveling with them, sustained critical injuries in the crash. He was immediately rushed to the district hospital for emergency treatment. After receiving primary care, he was referred to a private hospital as his condition remained serious and required advanced medical attention.
Purpose of the Journey
A relative of the victims, Vikas Dhakad, provided context for their travel. He explained that the group had gone to Sonkatch specifically to arrange items for their grandfather's death ritual, which was scheduled to take place on Sunday. They were on their way back to their village when the tragic accident occurred. Mohit was reportedly driving the car at the time of the incident.
Police Investigation Underway
SP Puneet Gehlot confirmed that authorities have registered a formal case regarding the accident and have initiated a comprehensive search operation to trace the driver of the unidentified vehicle responsible for the collision. The investigation aims to determine the exact circumstances leading to this fatal incident.
