A tragic road accident in Outer North Delhi has claimed the lives of two young men and left a third in critical condition. The incident occurred in the Narela area, with police recovering a motorcycle from the spot.
Details of the Accident and Hospitalisation
According to the police, the information about the accident first came from Satyawadi Raja Harish Chandra Hospital on Thursday. The hospital reported that three injured individuals had been admitted. They were identified as Jatin (21), Abhishek (19), and Ankit (21). Tragically, Ankit was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital, having sustained severe head and facial injuries.
An ambulance had brought the trio to the facility. Following the initial report, a police team rushed to the hospital to investigate. Jatin and Abhishek were subsequently referred to a private hospital located in Rohini's Sector 17 for further treatment.
One More Succumbs, Case Transferred to MACT
During the course of treatment, the condition of Jatin deteriorated, and he later succumbed to his injuries. The third victim, Abhishek, remains under medical care and is reported to be in a serious condition.
The police have gathered initial statements regarding the incident. The ambulance driver informed officers that while he was heading towards the Singhu Border, he discovered the three young men lying on the road with a motorcycle nearby. He promptly transported them to the hospital.
Police Investigation Underway
Since the incident appeared to be an accident, the police formally registered a case on Friday, December 27, 2025. The matter has now been transferred to the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (MACT) for the necessary legal proceedings and further investigation to determine the exact cause and circumstances of the crash.
The recovery of the motorcycle from the accident spot is a key part of the ongoing probe. The local authorities are working to piece together the events that led to this fatal outcome on the roads of Outer North Delhi.
