According to Assistant Sub-Inspector Mahavir Prasad, the three women, all residents of Bhilwara, were traveling on a single scooter to offer darshan at the revered Trinetra Mahadev temple located near Kanwaliyas village. The fatal crash happened at the Sareri intersection, where the tanker struck their vehicle with tremendous force.

The impact was so severe that it threw all three occupants onto the road, killing two of them instantly at the scene. The deceased have been identified as Rekha (28), daughter of Ganpat Lal Balai, and Sita (36), wife of Ramavatar Dhobi. Sita is survived by a son and a daughter, adding to the profound personal loss for the families.

Investigation and Police Response

Upon receiving information about the accident, police personnel swiftly reached the location. They shifted the bodies to the mortuary of Rayla Community Hospital for post-mortem examinations, after which the remains were handed over to the grieving family members.

Initially, authorities faced challenges in identifying the vehicle involved in the collision. However, a breakthrough came when police reviewed CCTV footage from the Lambiya Kala and Bandanwara toll plazas along the highway. The footage clearly showed that a tanker was responsible for hitting the scooter.

Based on this evidence, a formal case has been registered against the tanker driver, and a comprehensive investigation is currently underway to determine the exact circumstances leading to the crash.
