In a shocking incident, the bodies of two young men were discovered under mysterious circumstances in Madhya Pradesh's Chhatarpur district on Monday night. Both victims sustained severe skull injuries, according to local police authorities.
Bodies Found on Roadside, Key Evidence Recovered
The grim discovery was made around 9 pm on the roadside connecting Panautha and Janakpur villages, located within the Ishanagar police station area. The two deceased were identified as 19-year-old Surendra Yadav and 18-year-old Santosh Kori, both hailing from Gaharwar village.
Officials noted that the bodies were lying approximately 20 paces apart from each other. At the scene, investigators found several crucial pieces of evidence, including:
- A country-made pistol
- A mobile phone
- A motorcycle parked nearby
Police Suspect Foul Play, Await Forensic Reports
Based on the preliminary examination of the bodies, police have raised suspicions of foul play. The initial assessment suggests that one youth may have been shot, while the other appears to have suffered a fatal head injury, possibly caused by a heavy blunt object.
