UP Double Murder: Bhadohi Man Beaten, Chandauli Farmer Shot Dead

Double Homicide Rocks Uttar Pradesh Districts

Two separate violent incidents in neighboring districts of Uttar Pradesh have resulted in tragic deaths, with police launching investigations into both cases. The incidents occurred in Bhadohi and Chandauli districts, claiming the lives of a young man and a farmer under different circumstances.

Bhadohi: Holi Celebration Turns Deadly

In Siyarahan village under the Kotwali police station area of Bhadohi district, a 25-year-old man was brutally beaten to death on Wednesday night. The victim, identified as Vishal Saroj from Barmohani village, had returned home on Holi leave after working in Mumbai to earn his livelihood.

According to police reports, Vishal left his home on Wednesday afternoon to participate in Holi celebrations but failed to return by evening. Family members conducted extensive searches throughout the night but could not locate him. The grim discovery came on Thursday morning when his body was found in a field near the Jal Nigam water tank in Siyarahan village.

Police personnel from two stations immediately responded to the scene, accompanied by forensic experts and a dog squad team. The body was sent for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.

Investigation Reveals Liquor Shop Altercation

Bhadohi Superintendent of Police Abhimanyu Mangalik stated that preliminary investigation indicates the tragedy stemmed from an altercation at a liquor shop. Vishal reportedly had a scuffle with the shopkeeper, following which the shopkeeper's brother attacked him on the head with a stick.

The violent assault resulted in excessive bleeding that proved fatal. Police have already arrested two persons accused in the case and continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the deadly confrontation.

Chandauli: Farmer Shot Dead at Farmhouse

In a separate incident just one district away, a 28-year-old farmer was shot dead in Parsadiha Jamalpur village under the Kandwa police station area of Chandauli district on Thursday afternoon. The victim, identified as Vishal Singh, was sleeping at his farmhouse when the attack occurred.

Investigations reveal that after his father's death two years ago, Vishal and his younger brother Vivek had taken up farming together. On Thursday afternoon, while Vishal was resting at the farmhouse, three unidentified miscreants raided the property and opened fire at him.

Neighbors who heard the gunshots immediately rushed to the scene and transported the injured farmer to a nearby hospital. Despite medical intervention, Vishal succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

Shooters Flee with Evidence

In a calculated move to conceal their identities, the assailants took away the CCTV system and DVR before fleeing the crime scene. This deliberate act has complicated the investigation, though police are pursuing multiple leads to identify and apprehend the perpetrators.

Police Response and Ongoing Investigations

Both cases have prompted significant police responses in their respective districts. In Bhadohi, the quick identification of suspects and subsequent arrests demonstrate progress in that investigation. The forensic evidence collected at both crime scenes is expected to provide crucial information for solving these violent crimes.

The proximity of these incidents in both time and geography has raised concerns among local residents about safety and security in rural areas. Police authorities have assured thorough investigations in both cases and have increased patrols in affected areas to prevent further violence.

These tragic events highlight the vulnerability of individuals in rural settings and underscore the importance of community vigilance and prompt police response in preventing and solving violent crimes.
