Operation Conviction and Long-Term Crime Statistics
The senior officer credited the success to proactive policing and the stringent measures under "Operation Conviction", which ensured swift justice and rigorous legal follow-up. He provided comprehensive data showcasing the force's impact over recent years.
Due to vigorous police advocacy in courts over the past two years, 1,25,985 criminals have been sentenced. This includes 10,414 individuals receiving life imprisonment and 79 convicts of heinous crimes being handed the death penalty.
