UP Police Exam Frisking Video Sparks Outrage

A video from a Uttar Pradesh Police constable recruitment examination centre has gone viral on social media, showing police officers using a metal detector inside candidates' pants and mouths for frisking after a candidate was reportedly caught hiding a mobile phone in his underwear.

Video Sparks Online Outrage

First reported by Brut, the videos quickly drew outrage online. One social media user wrote, 'Imagine the metal detector in someone's mouth when it has already been in someone's pants!! Clowns,' raising concerns about hygiene. Another user said, 'This is peak level humiliating students.'

Someone else questioned the educated level of the police force: 'That's why education is important, even in Indian State Police Force.' Another equated it to mistreatment of men in the country: 'This is how system treats men in India. If the same is in case of women, the story is different.'
