Authorities were alerted that Panchal was driving from Zundal to Sabarmati in a blue car equipped with an illegal weapon. Acting swiftly, the DCB team intercepted the vehicle, which was found to have a false number plate. During the search, they recovered a pistol marked 'Made in US' concealed near Panchal's waist.
