In a significant breakthrough, the Detection of Crime Branch (DCB) in Vadodara apprehended a man on Sunday who is allegedly responsible for a string of temple burglaries across the city. The arrest followed a coordinated police operation based on actionable intelligence.
Tip-Off Leads to Swift Arrest in Sardar Estate Area
Acting on a specific tip-off, law enforcement officials were alerted that the suspect was circulating in the Sardar Estate locality while carrying silver ornaments and actively seeking potential buyers. A specialized police team was immediately dispatched to the scene, where they successfully intercepted and detained the individual.
The accused has been identified as Rohit Barot, aged 25. Upon his apprehension, officers conducted a preliminary search and discovered incriminating evidence in his possession.
