The Vigilance Bureau in Ludhiana has apprehended a Block Development and Panchayat Officer (BDPO) for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000. The arrest was made following a complaint from a resident who claimed the officer demanded the bribe to issue a certificate.
