In a significant breakthrough, the Visakhapatnam city police have successfully cracked the murder case of 19-year-old B Venkatesh, leading to the arrest of eight persons. Details of the Fatal Attack
According to police reports, the incident unfolded on Wednesday night when rowdy-sheeter P Anil, along with his associates, forcefully entered Venkatesh's residence located at Ramalayam Street near Isukathota, under the jurisdiction of the MVP police station. During the altercation, Venkatesh was brutally stabbed to death, while his cousin, B Santhosh, sustained severe injuries after being attacked with a hammer.
Background of the Accused
Investigations have revealed that P Anil, a resident of Venkojipalem, had a history of criminal activities, leading to his expulsion from Vizag city due to repeated offences. He had been residing in Ranasthalam, Srikakulam district, prior to the attack. Authorities believe that ongoing disputes between Anil and the victims were the primary motive behind the violent assault.
Police Investigation and Arrests
Police confirmed that Anil, along with ten associates, orchestrated the assault, resulting in the tragic death of Venkatesh and injuries to Santhosh. So far, eight of the accused have been taken into custody, including the rowdy-sheeter and the two juveniles.
