Detention Under PSA

The police stated that in order to uphold public order and security, the Baramulla police executed a detention warrant on May 30 under the Jammu & Kashmir Public Safety Act (PSA) against Haseena Begum, a resident of Sheeri Baramulla. The police claimed that she was involved in several criminal cases related to unlawful and anti-national activities.

Order by District Magistrate

The detention was carried out following an order issued by the District Magistrate of Baramulla, based on her involvement in multiple criminal cases. The authorities have not disclosed the specific cases against her but emphasized that the action was taken to maintain public order and security in the region.
