A tragic incident occurred in Faridabad on Wednesday when a 40-year-old woman jumped to her death from the 13th floor of a residential society in Sector 88. The woman, who resided with her husband and two children on the fourth floor of Tower C-4 in the condominium, allegedly took her own life around 10 am.
Incident Details
A security guard noticed the woman leaving her tower and walking towards Tower C-1. He reported that her actions did not appear suspicious at that moment. She allegedly took the elevator to the 13th floor of Tower C-1 and jumped, dying on the spot.
Investigation Underway
Initial investigations suggest a strained relationship between the couple, but police are working to determine the exact cause. A team from the BPTP police station arrived at the scene and sent the body for an autopsy. At the time of the incident, her husband was visiting his hometown, and the children were not at home.
Police discovered that the woman had previously worked in a private sector company but left about three years ago due to health issues. A police officer stated, "No conclusion can be drawn regarding the cause of suicide at the moment. The matter is under investigation." Statements from family members and society staff are being recorded.
