The charred body of a middle-aged woman was recovered from inside a burnt car near Doddaballapur on Saturday evening. The incident came to light when local residents noticed a car parked near Jinkebachhahalli engulfed in flames and a man running away from the scene. Before fire tenders and police could arrive and douse the fire, the vehicle was completely gutted. It was only during a thorough inspection that the police came across the body, which was beyond recognition.
