Woman Found Dead in Kishanganj, Husband Alleges Murder

A 30-year-old woman, Geeta Devi, was discovered dead in Churli panchayat under Thakurganj block in Kishanganj district on Saturday. The incident has sent shockwaves through the local community.

Incident Details

Geeta, a resident of Darbhanga, had traveled to Churli panchayat with her husband, Vimal Paswan, to attend a wedding ceremony. According to family members, the couple was sleeping in the same room on the night of the incident. Due to the absence of a fan in the room, Vimal got up and moved to another room to sleep, leaving the door of his wife's room open.

When Vimal returned in the morning to wake his wife, he found her body lying in a pool of blood. He immediately alerted other family members and contacted the police.
