A 21-year-old woman, identified as Rekha Patel, was discovered dead under mysterious circumstances at her residence in Sandalpur Malethua village, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Phulpur police station, on Thursday morning.
Upon receiving the alert, senior police officials, including Deputy Commissioner of Police (Ganga Nagar) Kuldeep Singh, along with a police force and forensic experts, arrived at the scene and initiated investigations.
DCP Singh stated, "No injury marks were found on the body. The cause of death will be ascertained only after the postmortem examination."
The woman's father has raised suspicions against neighbors, accusing them of killing his daughter due to an old property dispute. However, police officials have stated that detailed investigations are underway and appropriate action will be taken accordingly. Authorities are currently awaiting the autopsy report to determine the exact cause of death.
