A tragic accident occurred in Moshi, Pune on Wednesday around 3:30 PM, claiming the life of a 30-year-old woman and leaving her father injured. According to the Bhosari MIDC police, the deceased has been identified as Savita Kamble, a resident of Bhosari. Her father, Eknath Kuchekar (65), sustained severe injuries to his right hand.
Accident Details
The police reported that the accident took place when Kuchekar was returning home from Moshi with his daughter on a scooter. A container truck struck their vehicle, resulting in Savita's instantaneous death. The truck driver has been booked under charges of causing death by negligence.
Police Investigation
An officer from the Bhosari MIDC police station confirmed that the container truck hit the scooter, killing the woman on the spot. The injured father is receiving medical treatment. Further investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the accident.
