Hyderabad: In a tragic incident in Vikarabad district, a woman allegedly killed her two children before dying by suicide late Saturday evening. However, her family members have raised suspicion against her husband, Mallesh, accusing him of killing all three.
Incident Details
On Saturday, a relative of the deceased discovered that J Navaneetha, 30, and her two children were found dead. The relative immediately alerted locals, who informed Kulkacharla police. Officials stated that after examining the scene, they suspect Navaneetha might have first killed her two children and later died by suicide.
Family Allegations
Navaneetha’s family, upon learning about the incident, reached the spot and later filed a complaint. They revealed that she married Mallesh 11 years ago. Throughout their marital life, the family alleged that Mallesh harassed her and demanded additional dowry. On multiple occasions, village elders counseled him, but he allegedly continued to trouble her. As a result, her family suspects Mallesh was behind the deaths of his wife and two children.
Legal Action
Police have registered a case under sections 85 (Husband or relative of husband subjecting a woman to cruelty), 103 (murder), and 108 (abetment to suicide) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
