Unidentified Woman Found Dead in Lucknow Agricultural Field
In a disturbing incident, the body of an unidentified woman, estimated to be approximately 35 years old, was discovered lying in an agricultural field in Madarpur village of the Kakori area in Lucknow on Thursday morning. The field is owned by a local resident named Rafiq.
Discovery and Initial Observations
According to villagers, the body was spotted around 8 am, prompting them to alert the police immediately. Preliminary observations by authorities indicate that the woman may have been subjected to a brutal assault before being murdered, with strong suspicions of sexual assault involved.
Multiple injury marks were found on her head and body, with particular attention drawn to both hands, where dark bruises consistent with beatings by sticks were clearly visible. The woman was found wearing a maxi and was barefoot, while her petticoat and dupatta were lying nearby, adding to the grim scene.
Police Response and Investigation
Upon receiving the information, police teams from Kakori, Para, and Dubagga police stations swiftly reached the spot, accompanied by Dhananjay Kushwaha. A forensic team was also deployed to meticulously collect evidence from the scene to aid in the investigation.
DCP West Zone Kamlesh Dixit stated, "The body will be sent for a post-mortem examination, and concerted efforts are underway to establish the identity of the deceased. Police have initiated questioning of locals and are examining all possible angles to uncover the truth behind this heinous crime."
The investigation is ongoing, with authorities working diligently to piece together the events leading to the woman's death and bring those responsible to justice.
