Noida: The body of a youth with severe head injuries was discovered near a canal in Greater Noida's Kasna on Friday evening, according to police. The deceased, identified as Huzaib, was a resident of Dola Rajpura village in Dankaur. While the exact cause of death has not yet been confirmed, an officer stated that the injury marks on his head suggest he may have been assaulted before his death. Huzaib's family has also alleged that he was murdered. Based on a complaint filed by Huzaib's father, police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against unidentified persons.
Discovery of the Body
Local residents in Kasna alerted police about a body near the canal on Friday. A police team promptly arrived at the scene and conducted a search. No suicide note or any items that could be used for self-harm were found at the location.
Investigation Underway
Investigators are now working to determine how and why Huzaib reached the canal area prior to his death. Police teams have begun questioning local residents and individuals who may have seen him before the incident. CCTV footage from nearby locations is also being examined to trace his movements and identify any potential suspects. All possible angles are being probed, including accident, suicide, and homicide.
