According to police reports, the incident occurred in Islampura Chakra village under the jurisdiction of the Mubarakpur police station. Azamgarh CO (Sadar) Astha Jaiswal stated on Saturday that Hasnain was rushed to the hospital after being stabbed multiple times by his friend Irfan. The attack stemmed from a dispute that escalated between the two individuals.
Investigations revealed that Hasnain and Irfan were engaged in a conversation outside their neighboring houses in the Islampura locality on Friday night. The discussion turned into a violent argument, prompting Irfan to attack Hasnain with a knife repeatedly before fleeing the scene. Hasnain's father, Naushad, heard his son's cries and opened the door to find him lying in a pool of blood.

Naushad immediately raised an alarm, alerting neighbors who gathered and rushed Hasnain to the hospital. Despite efforts to save him, doctors declared him dead upon arrival. His body was subsequently sent for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.
