Sriram Sharma, the officer-in-charge of Chainpur police station, provided official confirmation of the case. "A Jal Sahiya at the DWSD office lodged an FIR against YouTuber Ibrahim Raza on February 18. The criminal case was registered under various sections of the IT Act and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS)," he stated. This legal action underscores the serious nature of the allegations, with authorities invoking both information technology and criminal law provisions to address the issue.
