Ayodhya Ram Temple ‘Missing Fund’: Saffron Leader Files Police Complaint, Congress Seeks Judicial Probe
The first complaint was filed by the president of ‘Dharm Sena’, Santosh Dube, who has been associated with the Ram Temple movement for decades. In his complaint, Dube alleged that a significant amount of funds collected for the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya has gone missing. He urged the police to register a case and investigate the matter thoroughly.
Following the complaint, the Congress party has demanded a judicial probe into the alleged missing funds. Senior Congress leader said that the party has full faith in the judiciary and believes that a fair investigation will bring out the truth. The party also accused the ruling government of trying to cover up the scam.
The Ram Temple construction in Ayodhya has been a highly sensitive and emotional issue for millions of Hindus across the country. The allegations of missing funds have raised questions about the transparency and accountability of the temple trust. Several other saffron leaders have also expressed concern over the issue and demanded a thorough investigation.
On the other hand, the temple trust has denied any wrongdoing and stated that all funds are properly accounted for. They have welcomed any investigation and said that they are ready to cooperate with the authorities. The trust also claimed that the complaint is politically motivated and aimed at defaming the temple construction.
The police have registered a case based on the complaint and have started an initial inquiry. Further developments are awaited as the investigation progresses.
