BJP Claims Congress Leaders Fueling 'Congress-Mukt Bharat' Movement
BJP: Congress leaders driving party's downfall internally

The Bharatiya Janata Party has launched a sharp criticism against the Congress party, claiming that internal dissension within the opposition party is being driven by its own members who want to see India become "Congress-free." The BJP's remarks come amid visible infighting within Congress ranks in several states including Karnataka and Bihar.

Internal Power Struggles Rock Congress

BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari highlighted the ongoing factional conflicts within Congress, specifically pointing to the power tussle in Karnataka between Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his deputy DK Shivakumar. Congress functionaries in Karnataka are openly jostling for power and control, revealing deep divisions within the party's state leadership.

The situation appears equally grim for Congress in Bihar, where party members have begun questioning the Gandhi family's leadership following the party's poor performance in recent assembly elections. Congress workers in Bihar are blaming corruption in ticket distribution and the failure of the 'vote-chori' campaign for the significant electoral loss.

Congress Fighting Itself, Says BJP

Pradeep Bhandari didn't mince words when he told reporters that "Congress is fighting Congress" and that the party's own workers are taking the lead in making India Congress-mukt. He asserted that many within Congress believe their political future remains bleak as long as the party remains under the leadership of the Gandhi-Vadra family.

The BJP spokesperson made serious allegations against the opposition party, stating that "corruption and nepotism are two things which unite Congress" across different states and factions. He even mocked Congress's organizational strength, pointing out that in Jammu and Kashmir, the party has been unable to find a spokesperson, indicating deeper structural problems.

Nationwide Pattern of Internal Conflict

The BJP's criticism comes at a time when Congress appears to be grappling with internal wrangling across multiple states. The party's challenges are not limited to Karnataka and Bihar but seem to reflect a nationwide pattern of discontent among party workers and leaders.

The internal conflicts have become so pronounced that BJP leaders claim Congress workers themselves are leading the charge for a Congress-free India, suggesting that the dissatisfaction within the party ranks has reached critical levels. This development could have significant implications for Congress's ability to present a united opposition front against the ruling BJP in upcoming elections.
