The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to demonstrate its organizational strength at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Nari Shakti Vandana Sammelan in Varanasi, with top party leaders arriving in full force. State president Pankaj Chaudhary and state general secretary (organisation) Dharampal Singh Saini were the first to land in the city to oversee preparations.
National President's Visit
BJP national president Nitin Nabin is also expected to land in Kashi on his maiden visit to welcome Prime Minister Modi at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport, along with Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Confirming Nabin's visit, BJP's Kashi regional unit president Dilip Singh Patel stated that the national president will arrive before the PM and address the Nari Shakti Vandana Sammelan at the BLW ground on Tuesday evening, where 50,000 women are anticipated to participate.
Prayer and Welcome
Nabin will visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple to offer prayers before heading to the BLW ground for the PM's event. He will be greeted by BJP workers with beats of dhol and a shower of flowers at various points along the route.
Preparations and Security
BJP cadres have decorated the entire route that the Prime Minister will take, installing flags and draping crossings with saffron cloth and lights. Roads leading to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, where Modi will offer prayers on Wednesday morning, have been barricaded by the district administration. A team led by city chief Pradeep Agrahari carried out a sanitation drive and other public mobilization campaigns at Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Crossing and Maldahiya.
Mobilization of Women
A series of meetings and campaigns to ensure the participation of 50,000 women in the proposed event continued across all eight assembly areas of the district. The BJP aims to showcase its grassroots mobilization and organizational capabilities through this large-scale gathering.
