Hyderabad: BJP MLA Paidi Rakesh Reddy on Wednesday stated that the case involving Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay's son, Sai Bageerath, should be treated as a family matter. Addressing the media at the BJP state office, Reddy said, 'The case is under investigation, and the finality will be decided there. I have nothing more to say, but I believe there has been a good friendship between the boy and the girl, and the girl's family has also accepted their friendship. Both are young and might have faced some disputes, but if things settle later, they could even consider marriage.'
Appeal to the Public
Reddy further appealed to the public to stop discussing the matter, emphasizing that there are many other important issues requiring attention. 'There are many other important issues, such as paddy procurement in the state, that require attention. No one is focusing on them. Please do not make this a confrontation between the two parties; there might have been some misunderstandings, and I hope they are resolved,' he added.
Party's Response
When contacted regarding his remarks, a BJP leader clarified that it was Reddy's 'personal opinion.' The matter continues to be under investigation, and the party has not issued an official stance on the issue.
