BJP MLA Rajeshwar Singh Honors Ambedkar's Legacy in Lucknow Seminar
In Lucknow, a significant seminar was held in Sarojini Nagar to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. BR Ambedkar, organized under the "Samman Abhiyan 2026." The event saw BJP MLA Rajeshwar Singh deliver a powerful address, stressing that the true tribute to Babasaheb lies in fulfilling duties alongside rights.
Emphasis on Justice, Education, and Empowerment
Addressing the gathering, Singh articulated that April 14 symbolizes core values of justice, equality, and empowerment. He urged the youth to prioritize education and remain vigilant against any forms of injustice, highlighting the importance of Ambedkar's teachings in contemporary society.
Singh detailed several initiatives in Sarojini Nagar aimed at fostering development. These include women's empowerment through over 150 "Tara Shakti Kendras" and the introduction of smart classes and computers in government schools, showcasing efforts to bridge educational gaps and enhance opportunities.
Criticism of Opposition Parties
In a pointed critique, Singh targeted opposition parties, alleging that the Samajwadi Party and Congress were "shedding crocodile tears" in Ambedkar's name. He claimed that past regimes undermined Dalit icons, contrasting this with the current government's actions.
Singh asserted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the government is actively working to realize Ambedkar's vision through inclusive development policies, aiming to uplift marginalized communities and promote social equity.
Other Speakers and Event Highlights
The seminar also featured addresses from BJP leader Tryambak Tripathi and SC Commission member Neeraj Gautam, who both emphasized themes of equality and social harmony, reinforcing the event's focus on Ambedkar's ideals.
As part of the commemoration, copies of Ambedkar's work "Jaat-Paat Ka Vinash" were distributed to participants. Attendees resolved to build an equitable society based on his principles, underscoring the seminar's impact in inspiring collective action towards social justice.
