The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to launch a series of nationwide outreach programmes to commemorate 12 years of the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre. The initiative aims to highlight the achievements and welfare measures undertaken by the administration since 2014.
Focus on Development and Water Security
In Dakshina Kannada district, BJP leader Kumpala stated that the effective implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission has significantly alleviated the acute water scarcity typically experienced during the summer months. He emphasized that the mission has been a game-changer for rural households, ensuring tap water connections to every home.
District-Level Preparations
Local party units are gearing up for the outreach, which will include public meetings, door-to-door campaigns, and digital initiatives. The programmes are designed to connect with citizens across all sections of society, showcasing the government's progress in infrastructure, health, education, and digital governance.
Kumpala further noted that the BJP's grassroots network would be leveraged to maximize reach. The party aims to counter opposition narratives by presenting data on economic growth, poverty reduction, and social welfare schemes.
The outreach is expected to gain momentum in the coming weeks, with senior party leaders scheduled to address public gatherings. The BJP hopes to consolidate its support base ahead of upcoming elections by reinforcing the Modi government's development agenda.
