The Indian Army fraternity and the city of Chandigarh are in mourning following the passing of a distinguished veteran, Brigadier Manmohan Singh Brar (Retd). The respected officer, who served with the Sikh Light Infantry, breathed his last on May 15. He was 93 years old.

His final journey commenced from his residence in Sector 33, Chandigarh. The cremation is scheduled to take place on Friday, May 17, at the Sector 25 cremation ground, where his comrades and loved ones will gather to pay their last respects.
