Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan Lauds PM Modi's Record Tenure and Vision
Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Monday delivered a powerful tribute to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, describing him as "not just a person but an idea and an institution". This statement came as Modi marked a historic milestone of 8,931 days as head of government, a tenure that includes his time as Chief Minister of Gujarat.
Chouhan Highlights Modi's Dedication and Nationalist Drive
Addressing a press conference at the BJP headquarters, Chouhan emphasized that Modi's leadership has been characterized by relentless work for the nation and an unwavering dedication to public life. "While spending the highest number of days in public office is a significant milestone, what is even more remarkable is his tireless commitment to public welfare throughout this tenure," Chouhan stated.
He further elaborated on the core inspiration behind Modi's work, noting, "In every role, the core inspiration I have seen in him is nationalism, nation first, nation above all. He is a true devotee of Mother India and a servant of the people. This is the fundamental motivation behind his work." Chouhan praised Modi for winning the popular mandate repeatedly since becoming Gujarat's Chief Minister in 2001, setting a benchmark for political dedication.
Key Government Initiatives Under Modi's Leadership
Chouhan also highlighted several key government initiatives that have significantly boosted investment and public welfare under Modi's administration. He specifically mentioned programs like:
- Make in India
- Stand-Up India
- Start-Up India
"These initiatives have created a new environment of investment, hope, and trust," Chouhan said. He also commended the infrastructure developments, economic reforms, and support for the farming sector that have been implemented during Modi's tenure, underscoring their impact on national progress.
Chouhan's remarks reinforce the BJP's narrative of Modi as a transformative leader whose long service is driven by a deep-seated nationalism and a focus on public welfare, making his record tenure not just a numerical achievement but a testament to his ideological and institutional significance in Indian politics.
