The time has come for all of us to come together, said CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke as he announced his return to India on June 6. Dipke, who has been abroad, plans to lead a peaceful protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, demanding the resignation of the Education Minister. He claimed that exam-related controversies and disruptions have left students anxious and called for accountability from the government.
Peaceful Protest Planned
In a statement released on June 1, Dipke urged supporters to join him in the protest, emphasizing the need for collective action. The announcement was made via a post on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, by the account Cockroach is Back. The post read: CJP Founder @abhijeet_dipke will return to India on June 6 for a peaceful protest at Jantar Mantar, Delhi, demanding the resignation of the Education Minister.
Exam Controversies Spark Outrage
Dipke highlighted that repeated disruptions in examination schedules have caused immense stress among students. He accused the Education Ministry of negligence and demanded immediate steps to ensure fair and timely conduct of exams. The protest aims to draw attention to these issues and push for systemic changes.
The return of Dipke marks a significant moment for the CJP movement, which has been vocal about education reforms. Supporters are expected to gather in large numbers at Jantar Mantar to show solidarity. The protest is scheduled to be peaceful, with organizers coordinating with authorities to maintain order.
As the date approaches, the government has yet to respond to Dipke's demands. The Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, has faced criticism over the handling of exam-related matters. The protest on June 6 is likely to intensify pressure on the ministry to address student grievances.
