The founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), Abhijit Dipke, has issued a strong ultimatum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, demanding that he choose between the interests of students and the 'incompetent' Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Speaking to the media, Dipke declared, "We will all go to Delhi on June 20 and camp there till the time Dharmendra Pradhan resigns."
Protest Plans Announced
Dipke's statement came during a press conference in Punjab, where he criticized Pradhan's performance as a minister. He accused the minister of failing to address key issues affecting students and the education sector. The CJP founder emphasized that the protest would be peaceful but persistent, with supporters from across the country expected to join.
Demand for Resignation
The CJP has been vocal about its demand for Pradhan's resignation, citing alleged mismanagement and lack of accountability. Dipke urged the Prime Minister to prioritize the welfare of students over political alliances. "The PM must decide: stand with the students or protect an incompetent minister," he said.
This development adds pressure on the government ahead of the planned protest in the national capital. Security arrangements in Delhi are expected to be tightened as June 20 approaches.
