The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) is set to stage a protest at Dharna Chowk in Hyderabad on June 14, as part of their nationwide movement demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
As part of this campaign, CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke participated in a protest at Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) on Thursday. While the Pune demonstration was ongoing, the party announced similar protests in other cities in the near future.
“The entire country will unite to demand the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan. Cockroach Janta Party Peaceful Protest going national,” CJP posted on its X handle.
According to the schedule, protests will be held in Lucknow on June 12, Amritsar on June 13, and at Dharna Chowk in Hyderabad on June 14 at 10 am. Following the Hyderabad protest, CJP will hold another protest in Bengaluru at 4 pm on the same day. Subsequent protests are planned for Jaipur on June 15 and Delhi on June 20.
“We appeal to youth across the country to come to Delhi on June 20 for a massive protest,” CJP posted on X.
Meanwhile, Domalguda police reported that a college student named Ruchit Ashakamal approached them on Thursday seeking permission to hold a protest at Dharna Chowk from 10 am to 12:30 pm against the cancellation of the NEET-UG exam in May, with an expected participation of 150-200 protesters. He mentioned that Sonam Wangchuk would join the protest. “The application is under scrutiny,” said a Domalguda police official.
