Prayagraj: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited a defence exhibition on Wednesday and commended the progress made by Indian companies in developing state-of-the-art equipment. He meticulously examined a diverse array of exhibits tailored to meet the evolving requirements of modern combat.
Exhibition Highlights
During his tour, Yogi inspected bulletproof jackets, tactical gear, advanced helmets, and specialized military equipment designed for multi-terrain operations. He engaged with experts to grasp the technical specifications and practical applications of these products.
Key Innovations
Innovations such as “head-to-boot” protection systems, modular protection gear, and clothing engineered to withstand extreme temperatures emerged as prominent highlights of the exhibition. Particularly noteworthy was an all-weather outfit that can be reversed for use in both extreme cold and hot conditions. Yogi expressed appreciation upon learning that the same technology could soon be adapted for children and newborns.
Interactions and Initiatives
At the stall of the Army Headquarters Central Command, he interacted with officers and sought details about green energy initiatives and drone detection systems. The symposium underscored the robust collaboration between government agencies, defence forces, academia, and private industry.
