CM Yogi assures medical, housing aid to needy at Janata Darshan

Gorakhpur: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday assured people that the government would stand by every needy person, whether they require financial assistance for medical treatment or support for housing.

Addressing around 200 people during a Janata Darshan programme at Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur, the CM said that those seeking help for medical treatment should get an estimate prepared and submit it to the authorities.

"Take care of the patient. Leave the concern for treatment to the government," he said, assuring immediate assistance through government schemes and discretionary funds, wherever necessary.

Yogi also directed the officials to ensure that all eligible beneficiaries are provided Ayushman cards so that they can access healthcare services without difficulty.

Responding to requests related to housing, the CM said the government was continuously providing houses to deserving beneficiaries under various welfare schemes and ensuring that no eligible person would be left out.

The CM reviewed complaints related to police, revenue, education, healthcare and electricity departments and instructed the officials to resolve all grievances in a time-bound, impartial and satisfactory manner.

Earlier in the morning, the CM performed Gau Seva at the temple cowshed, feeding jaggery and green fodder to cows. He also interacted with children visiting the temple and distributed chocolates among them. He encouraged them to focus on their studies.
