Congress accuses BJP of sharing AI-generated Patna video

The Congress party has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of sharing an artificially intelligent-generated video of Patna, claiming it presented a 'beautified' version of the Bihar capital. In a social media post, Congress shared two videos side by side: one it alleged was created using AI and another showing the 'real Bihar'. The BJP Bihar unit had posted a video on June 4, 2026, with the caption: 'Don't be surprised, this is Bihar's capital Patna! Where there is a BJP-NDA government, there is rapid development.'

Congress response

Congress responded by tweeting: 'Under Narendra Modi's guidance, BJP posted a fake AI-generated video. People caught their trick and now the video has been deleted. The hollow image of deceitful Modi rests on such lies, but their deception will not work now.' The party also used the hashtag 'Modi hai toh farziwada hai' (Modi means fraud).

The All India Trinamool Congress also commented, saying: 'Patna got an AI makeover before it got actual development under the BJP regime.' Another account, 'Cockroach Party of India', criticized the BJP: 'BJP's main account, followed by 23 million people, is now selling an AI/VFX version of Patna as development.
