The city of Dibrugarh came together in a powerful display of patriotism and unity, paying homage to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his 150th birth anniversary. The community organized an impressive padyatra, marking the second such commemorative march held within the district to honor the legacy of the man who unified India.

Before the march commenced, a solemn tribute ceremony was held at the Chowkidinghee Playground. The event saw the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including State Power Minister and Dibrugarh MLA Prasanta Phukan and Deputy Mayor Ujjal Phukon, alongside numerous other officials. The proceedings were formally inaugurated by Prasanta Phukan, who lit a ceremonial lamp and placed a floral wreath at the statue of Sardar Patel, honoring the statesman's extraordinary vision.
