According to officials from the Delhi Fire Services (DFS), the blaze triggered a large-scale firefighting operation, but fortunately, no injuries have been reported so far.

The DFS received an emergency call regarding the fire at 7:37 AM. In response, 10 fire tenders were immediately dispatched to the location to combat the flames. The fire erupted at the market situated near Andheria Mor in the Lado Sarai area, which is known for housing numerous temporary and semi-permanent shops selling handicrafts and various other items.

Extent of Damage and Firefighting Efforts

Thick plumes of smoke were observed billowing from the market complex as the fire rapidly spread through multiple shops in this crowded marketplace. Firefighters launched an extensive operation to contain the blaze and prevent it from escalating further. Around 50 shops were completely gutted, causing substantial damage to goods and structures within the market.
