According to the Delhi Fire Service, an emergency call was received at 7:10 am from Jaggi Saree Wala. Two water tenders and one water bowser were immediately dispatched to the scene. Firefighters worked diligently, bringing the blaze under control by 7:40 am, with a "stop" message issued at 7:45 am, indicating the fire was fully extinguished.

- Bharat Lal, 32 years old, brother of Preetam
- Moni, 27 years old, wife of Bharat
- Soumya, 3.5 years old, younger sister of Preetam and Bharat
