The CM accused the opposition of consistently engaging in a politics of "obstruct, delay and mislead" whenever the government introduces schemes aimed at national development.

Saini alleged that the Congress has historically opposed every development initiative brought forward by the government. He claimed the party suffers from a complete lack of policy direction, genuine intent, and effective leadership. The criticism specifically targeted the Congress's handling of the Women's Reservation Bill. Saini stated that by attempting to block this crucial legislation, the Congress party has fundamentally undermined democratic values. He expressed "deep pain" over what he described as Congress's disrespect towards women, asserting that the events in Parliament amounted to a direct insult to women's dignity across the nation.

Drawing a vivid parallel from the epic Mahabharata, the Chief Minister remarked that "modern-day Duryodhana and Dushasana" might try to obstruct the bill, but they would ultimately fail to stop Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whom Saini likened to the revered Bhishma. He alleged that the Congress and other opposition parties were actually celebrating the obstruction of the bill, calling this a clear example of their negative and anti-development political strategy.
Saini suggested that the opposition fears women's empowerment because it could potentially weaken their traditional political base. He explained that the legislation was initially linked to the census and delimitation processes. However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made the decisive move to delink it from delimitation to ensure that women receive their rightful participation in political representation without unnecessary delay.
