Haryana Congress President Rao Narender Singh has launched a fierce counterattack against the Bharatiya Janata Party following the registration of a case against party leader Rahul Gandhi in the ongoing National Herald matter. Singh accused the ruling party of engaging in vindictive politics aimed at intimidating the opposition.
A Strong Condemnation from the Congress
Rao Narender Singh did not mince words in his criticism, stating that the BJP is indulging in politics of malice and revenge. He asserted that the ruling party's tactics of using old, previously dismissed cases to suppress and intimidate the top leadership of the Congress party have now been fully exposed to the Indian public.
The Core of the Allegations
In a powerful statement, Singh defended the Congress legacy, emphasizing that the party leadership rests with a family that has always prioritized national interests above all else. "The BJP is forgetting that the Congress leadership is in the hands of a family that has always placed the interest of the nation above everything and has never hesitated to serve, dedicate, and even sacrifice their lives for it," he stated. He confidently declared that such petty political vendetta would neither disturb the Congress party nor weaken the firm resolve of its members.
He categorically dismissed the National Herald case as being baseless, factless, and purely politically motivated. Expressing faith in the ultimate triumph of truth, Singh added, "Such allegations can never stand the test of time. Ultimately, the victory of truth is certain, and the veil of falsehood will lift on its own."
Taking the Fight to the People
Signaling a strategic shift beyond the courtroom, the Haryana Congress chief announced that the party would not confine this battle to the legal arena alone. He framed the issue as an attack on democracy and vowed to take the fight directly to the people, suggesting a broader political and public campaign against the BJP's actions.
