Hazaribag Administration Implements Comprehensive Security Plan for Mangla Julus Processions
In a proactive move to ensure peaceful religious observances, Deputy Commissioner Shashi Prakash Singh of Hazaribag has issued stringent directives to senior district officials. The focus is on guaranteeing an uninterrupted supply of electricity and drinking water along the designated routes for the Mangla Julus processions scheduled for Tuesday.
High-Level Review Meeting Sets the Stage
These instructions followed a detailed review meeting chaired by Singh on Sunday, aimed at maintaining peace and order during the three consecutive Mangla Julus processions. The processions are set to commence on March 10, leading up to the grand Ramnavami festivities later this month.
Superintendent of Police Anjani Anjan took immediate action by personally surveying the procession routes on Monday. He mandated the deployment of magistrates in every corner of the town to oversee security operations. "The district administration is fully prepared for the procession," stated SP Anjani Anjan after the meeting. He emphasized that the use of DJ music is strictly prohibited during the events to prevent disturbances.
Advanced Surveillance and Monitoring Measures
To bolster security, all police stations have been instructed to maintain constant vigilance. Social media platforms are under active surveillance to identify and mitigate any objectionable posts that could incite tension during the festival period. Additionally, drones will be deployed to provide aerial oversight of the processions, enhancing the administration's ability to monitor large crowds effectively.
The Mangla Julus processions will be held on three consecutive Tuesdays as part of the build-up to the Ramnavami celebrations on March 27-28. With the Holi festivities concluded, there is a noticeable surge in demand for Mahaviri Jhandas, which are flying off the shelves in markets across Hazaribag.
Grand Celebrations and Community Participation
Ramnavami is observed on a grand scale throughout the district, attracting lakhs of devotees who participate in the religious processions. The administration's comprehensive preparations reflect a commitment to facilitating these events safely and smoothly, ensuring that the spiritual significance of the occasion is upheld without compromise.
