During the programme, the chief minister presented awards to individuals and groups for their remarkable achievements. Priyanka Verma, the Deputy Commissioner of Sirmaur, was honored for her dedicated efforts in advancing women's empowerment initiatives within the district. Her work has been instrumental in fostering a supportive environment for women's growth and participation in community activities.

Kritika Sharma, hailing from Gattadhar village in Sangrah tehsil of Sirmaur district, received accolades for her extraordinary feat of successfully climbing Mount Everest. This achievement not only showcases her personal determination but also serves as an inspiration to young women across the state, encouraging them to pursue ambitious goals in sports and adventure.

Megha Singh Kanwar, from Pajjhota village in Rajgarh, was felicitated for securing the first position in the Himachal Pradesh Administrative Examination-2025. Honors Under Himachal Pradesh Mahila Vikas Protsahan Yojana

Under the Himachal Pradesh Mahila Vikas Protsahan Yojana, a scheme aimed at promoting women's development, several individuals and organizations were recognized for their excellent work. The honorees included:

  • Shanti Jaiswal from Solan district
  • Nirmala Dhiman from Bilaspur district
  • Grihini Swayam Swarojgar Sangh from Indora in Kangra district
  • Nishu Lata from Una district

Each of these recipients was awarded a financial prize of Rs 1 lakh, acknowledging their contributions to community welfare and women's self-reliance initiatives.

Distribution of Financial Assistance Under Welfare Schemes

The event also featured the distribution of financial aid under various state welfare schemes, demonstrating the government's support for women and families in need. Key distributions included:

  1. Mukhyamantri Sukh Aashray Yojana: Marriage assistance of Rs 60,000 each was provided to Shikha, Simran Kaur, Shiya, and Prem Lata. Additionally, Mehboob Hasan and Ravi received the second instalment of Rs 1 lakh each for house construction under this scheme.
  2. Mukhyamantri Shagun Yojana: Santosh Devi, Shila Devi, and Nemo Devi were granted Rs 31,000 each to support their financial needs.
  3. Vidhva Punarvivah Yojna: Nasifa, Nitesh, and Vidha Devi were awarded Rs 2 lakh each to aid in their remarriage processes.
  4. Mukhyamantri Kanyadaan Yojana: Babita, Sunita Devi, and Anita Devi received Rs 51,000 each to assist with marriage-related expenses.

Additional Recognitions and Certificates

In a gesture of appreciation for grassroots workers, the chief minister honored Anganwadi workers for their excellent services. Each worker from different districts was awarded Rs 5,000, recognizing their vital role in early childhood care and education.

Furthermore, the event included the distribution of ownership rights certificates to 28 families under the Forest Rights Act (FRA). This initiative aims to secure land rights for forest-dwelling communities, contributing to their economic stability and social inclusion.
