NEW DELHI: Leaders of the opposition INDIA bloc convened on Monday for their first formal gathering since the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The meeting, hosted at the Constitution Club of India in the national capital, saw participation from 23 political parties, including the Congress. However, the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) were notably absent.

Rajya Sabha member and former Congress leader Kapil Sibal also attended the meeting. Shiv Sena (UBT) president Uddhav Thackeray participated virtually. In total, 27 leaders from 23 parties, along with Sibal, were present.
